Ever made a Summer Bucket List?
Summer is here and with six long weeks of no ties ahead of us, you may be wondering what you can do with yourselves?
To some, this may sound like a nightmare, but to me, it sounds perfect.
Summer is the time of year you can really slow down the pace.
Lazy mornings, PJ days and late nights in the garden.
I love the fact that we all get to spend time together. During the rest of the year, everyone is at school all week. I’ve also been working weekends, leaving only the evenings to spend any time talking or playing. Then that’s cut short due to bedtime.
To make the most of this summer, I’ve come up with a bucket list of slow living activities I want us to do as a family.

Summer Bucket List
- Sleep under the stars
- Picnic in the park
- Go on a hike
- Play frisbee
- Go fishing
- Make lemonade
- Go for a bike ride
- Build a fort
- Have a water fight
- Treasure hunt
- Make Icecream
- Chat around a campfire.
The one thing I am most looking forward to doing as a family is sleeping under the stars. I can’t wait to hear my three talk about how big the sky is and how that makes them feel. Although I hope they don’t start talking about bugs and spiders.
